THE LIONS ATTENDANTS

         There was an old lion in a forest. He was so old that he could no longer hunt effectively. He could not get food by himself, He had to eat only the leftovers of the kills made by other animals. Sometimes he had to stay hungry for days together if he could not find such leftover food.






 A jackal and a crow were true followers of the lion. They were happy to stay with the lion and eat what the lion gave them. They too were very sad to see their king's pathetic state. "We have to do something to make our king really happy," said the jackal to the crow.

The crow replied, "Yes, my friend. We have to make our king happy." At that time they happened to come across a sick camel. The camel was counting his days. He staggered in the direction of the jackal and the crow. "What are you discussing folks?" asked the camel. The wise jackal said, "Our king lion is too old to hunt anymore. So, we were talking about who would sacrifice their life for the king's sake.





"You look strong and healthy. Why should you sacrifice your life? I am already sick. Let me sacrifice my life for the king's happiness," said the camel. An agreement has arrived. The camel strode in front of the lion. The jackal howled, "Oh my lord, attack the camel." Although the lion was hesitant, he limped towards the camel and made his attack. 

To his surprise, the lion was able to kill the camel. "Did you see that? I killed the camel," roared the lion in happiness. From then on, the lion became bolder and tried his best and was able to attack and kill animals. "Thank God," said the crow to the jackal. "We were able to restore the boldness and ability in our king," said the jackal. The lion was happy to get such loyal attendants.

Moral: LOYALTY IS BEST.

THE SNAKE AND THE GREEN FROG - MORAL STORY

          It had just rained and the forest was nourishing with water everywhere. There was no shortage of food for every animal.  A snake was swimming in a pond. It had an eye on the plentiful fish in the pond. As it was about to catch a fish, the other fish saw it and pecked at it, biting and annoying it. The snake could not catch the fish. The disappointed snake swam to the shore and was about to leave the place. Just then it saw a frog croaking nearby. TWO IDENTICAL BIRDS - MORAL STORY

       Two parrots of the same breed went to two different persons. One was a sadhu and the other was a criminal. The sadhu used to pray everyday morning, "Ram, Ram. Save the world." The parrot, living with the sadhu, also learnt to repeat the prayer.         The criminal used to scold and utter bad words right from morning tonight.
