TWO MONKEYS - MORAL STORY

A monkey lived in a mountain cave. He was kind-hearted and loved to help other animals. He used to share his food, fruits and vegetables with those who didn't have any to eat.             Once, he found a wounded monkey in the foothills. "Oh dear friend, are you wounded seriously? Tell me how you got hurt," asked the kind-hearted monkey. "I can't move my limbs. I think I have some broken ribs. I was playing on a treetop, swinging from one branch to another. I slipped and fell down," replied the wounded monkey. So, the kind-hearted monkey helped the wounded monkey to his cave. He treated the monkey for his wounds. After some days the wounded monkey healed and turned healthy. "Friend, you have healed. You are now ready to join your family," said the kind-hearted monkey. "I am still a bit weak," replied the other monkey. "OK then, I shall bring you some food to eat," said the kind-hearted monkey and left the cave.  ...

Once a group of sailors set out to sea in their sailing ship. One of them brought his pet monkey along for the long journey.         When they were far out at sea, a terrible storm overturned their ship. Everyone fell into the sea and the monkey was sure that he would drown. Suddenly a dolphin appeared and picked him up. They soon reached the island and the monkey came down from the dolphin's back.        The dolphin asked the monkey, "Do you know this place?" The monkey replied, "Yes, I do. In fact, the king of the island is my best friend. Do you know that I am actually a prince?" The dolphin knew that the island was isolated. She said, "So you are a prince! Now you can be a king!" The monkey asked, "How can I be a king?" The dolphin went away, saying, "As you are the only creature on this island, you will naturally be the king!"  Moral: PRIDE BRINGS PAIN !!! *** *** ***

A hunter made his living by hunting wild animals and selling their flesh and hide in the local market.         He was a very effective hunter. His aim never missed. Once, he found two monkeys playing. He took his bow and slung arrow. A young monkey, who was high up on a tree, saw him and ran to him and pleaded, "Dear hunter, I have heard of you. You are very good at hunting. But, please spare us. One is my mother and the other is my brother.      We are a family. Please. Don't spoil our family." The hunter was touched by the family attachment. He promised, "I shall not kill any more monkeys." When the hunter returned home, he saw all his neighbours running here and there. When they saw him, one of his neighbours came running and said, "You are a very lucky person. There was a fire in the neighbourhood. But, your home is very safe. So is your family." The hunter thought to himself, "God has spared my family because I had spared the family of the mo...

Instead of asking for help from his friends, he called the leader monkey and left the garden in his charge. The monkey gave his word, "I shall take care of the garden with the help of my team till you return." The next morning, the leader monkey asked his team to water the plants. The monkeys asked, "We shall water them. But, how much should we water?" The confused monkey said, "Just pull out each plant. See the length of the roots. FREE ADVICE - MORAL SORY

Once, in a forest, there lived a group of monkeys. They made their homes at the top of the trees. There were so many baby monkeys also. There was a river in that forest. It was summer season. The monkeys enjoyed taking baths in the river. They used to play in the evening and eat fruits from the trees. They lived together as a family in order to safeguard themselves from enemies and rear one another. It was autumn, and the forest was rich with fruits fallen to the ground. The monkeys enjoyed lots of food. One day, a playful monkey came across deep red plums and mistook them for a piece of burning fire. He started collecting as many 'fire pieces' as he could. Soon, many of the monkeys joined in the task. "These fire pieces will keep us warm throughout the winter," they were saying to one another. A colourful parrot was watching the whole scene. She started feeling pity for the monkeys. From high up the tree she called, "Hello! Dear monkeys, ...
