THE PET MONKEY - MORAL STORY

There was a snake charmer. He grew a monkey along with his snake. The charmer was very strict and harsh with the monkey. He used to beat the monkey even for small mistakes. Both the snake and the monkey were very sad always.

The monkey tried to escape many times. But, the snake charmer managed to catch it each time. Then, a chance came one day. The snake charmer thought of going to a nearby town to perform his charming show. He had to cross a dense forest to reach the town.

The snake charmer lost his track and got lost in the forest. He tried all paths but in vain. The monkey climbed up a tall tree. It found the real path and led the snake charmer to the town. Now, the snake charmer felt sorry for his cruelty. He started showing love and affection to his pet animals.

At that time they happened to come across a sick camel. The camel was counting his days. He staggered in the direction of the jackal and the crow. "What are you discussing folks?" asked the camel. The wise jackal said, "Our king lion is too old to hunt anymore. So, we were talking about who would sacrifice their life for the ki...
