THE HUNTER AND THE MONKEYS - MORAL STORY

A hunter made his living by hunting wild animals and selling their flesh and hide in the local market.

He was a very effective hunter. His aim never missed. Once, he found two monkeys playing. He took his bow and slung arrow. A young monkey, who was high up on a tree, saw him and ran to him and pleaded, "Dear hunter, I have heard of you. You are very good at hunting. But, please spare us. One is my mother and the other is my brother.

We are a family. Please. Don't spoil our family." The hunter was touched by the family attachment. He promised, "I shall not kill any more monkeys." When the hunter returned home, he saw all his neighbours running here and there. When they saw him, one of his neighbours came running and said, "You are a very lucky person. There was a fire in the neighbourhood.

But, your home is very safe. So is your family." The hunter thought to himself, "God has spared my family because I had spared the family of the monkey."

Moral: GOOD DEEDS ARE WELL REWARDED !!!

It had just rained and the forest was nourishing with water everywhere. There was no shortage of food for every animal. A snake was swimming in a pond. It had an eye on the plentiful fish in the pond. As it was about to catch a fish, the other fish saw it and pecked at it, biting and annoying it. The snake could not catch the fish. The disappointed snake swam to the shore and was about to leave the place. Just then it saw a frog croaking nearby. So it went to the frog and asked, "What is the justice in the act of the fish. I was about to catch a big fish, but the other fish chased me off." The frog thought for a while and replied, "Of course, it is just. When the fish comes to you, you can eat it. In the heart of the forest, there was a ruined palace. The king had used it as a summer resort a long time back. Now that the king had died, there were no visitors and the palace had turned into ruins. This ruined leftover had become the shelter for a colony of mice. Once, a herd of elephants happened to cross that way. With loud trumpeting, they crumpled everything they set foot on. When they were about to crush the ruins, the chief mouse ran to the master elephant and begged, "Hey mighty elephant, we are living in these ruins for generations and generations. All our children and their children would turn homeless if your mighty feet lands on these ruins. Be kind enough to spare our lives and our homes."
