It really took some more days for him to really understand what is actually going on. Murthy wanted to teach the donkey a lesson. The season changed and autumn set in. Now, cotton was available in plenty. Murthy thought, "This is the right time for me to teach a lesson to the donkey." He loaded his donkey with a sack full of cotton and left for his village. As the river approached, the donkey thought, "What a pity!

The merchant has already loaded only a small weight of the load. If I have my dip, the weight will reduce further and I shall find it very very easy to carry the load. " With added happiness, the donkey enacted its play.
