THE TIGER AND THE WOODPECKER - MORAL STORY

A woodpecker was pecking the branch of a tree when he heard a pathetic cry, "Help me, please.
Somebody help me please!" The woodpecker flew in the direction of the cry.

Soon he found a tiger, with tears filling in his eyes. "What happened?" asked the woodpecker. "A tiny piece of bone pricked my mouth. It still remains between my teeth. It is very painful," cried the tiger. "Open your mouth and I shall remove the bone," said the woodpecker. The tiger opened his mouth and the woodpecker pulled the bone out. "Thank you," said the tiger and left happily. After a few days, the woodpecker happened to meet the tiger. "Hello, tiger! How are you?" enquired the woodpecker with affection. The tiger was very happy to meet the woodpecker. They both turned into good friends and lived happily.

THE RABBIT AND HIS FRIENDS - MORAL STORY

Bunny was a lively rabbit. He was always in the company of some animal or the other. He was friendly with all of them.               Once, Bunny heard a pack of hunting dogs in the forest. He was afraid that they would catch him. He ran to a deer he thought was his close friend and said, "Dear brother, I hear a pack of hunting dogs in the forest nearby. Please save me. You have such sharp antlers. You can thrash them. Please help me, friend !" The coolly replied, "I am sorry, Bunny.        I am too busy to help you out. Go and find someone else for your help." Bunny ran to many of his friends - the bear, the monkey, the zebra, and even the panther. They all gave the same reply. Finally, the tired Bunny met a mouse and told his pathetic state. The mouse replied, "Why are you panicking. Just get into your borough and stay inside till the pack leaves this area. You shall be safe." Bunny we...

THE SNAKE AND THE GREEN FROG - MORAL STORY

It had just rained and the forest was nourishing with water everywhere. There was no shortage of food for every animal.  A snake was swimming in a pond. It had an eye on the plentiful fish in the pond. As it was about to catch a fish, the other fish saw it and pecked at it, biting and annoying it. The snake could not catch the fish. The disappointed snake swam to the shore and was about to leave the place. Just then it saw a frog croaking nearby. So it went to the frog and asked, "What is the justice in the act of the fish.        I was about to catch a big fish, but the other fish chased me off." The frog thought for a while and replied, "Of course, it is just. When the fish comes to you, you can eat it. But, when you go to the fish the fish have right to chase you off." Saying this, the frog leapt away saying to itself, "Oh God! I've been lucky today to have escaped." Moral: EVEN THE MIGHTY ERRS  !!! **** **** ****

The parrot, living with the sadhu, also learnt to repeat the prayer.         The criminal used to scold and utter bad words right from morning tonight. The parrot, living there, also learnt to use bad words. One day, the parrot that lived with the sadhu wanted to meet the other one. It flew all the way to the criminal's house. The moment it set foot there, it heard loud scolding and bad words exchanged harshly from the parrot there. It could not believe its ears.        So, it convinced the parrot to join with the sadhu and exchanged places. Now, the criminal started hearing the prayers, "Ram, Ram. Save the world."
