THE WISE FRIEND - MORAL STORY

          Four friends had gone on a trekking expedition deep into the forest. They had camped in a clearing. The friends took turns in keeping watch. Midnight had crossed and the forest was turning wilder. Many night animals had started to growl. A pack of wolves came hunting in that area. Wolves are very bold animals and do not fear any other animal. 



              They are not even afraid of human beings. In fact, they savour human flesh. As the leader wolf approached the campsite of the friends, a human smell travelled in the air and entered his nostrils. "Friends, we have got a nice meal today. Some human beings have camped here. If we attack them now we can kill them," he howled. The other wolves in the pack followed the leader to the campsite. The friend who was on watch heard the howling sound of the wolves. Although he was filled with fear, he set out to enact the play he had learnt. He made all his friends lie still as though they were dead. The wolves came there and were disappointed at the persons lying still. They mistook them for dead persons and left the place. The friends had escaped.


Moral: WISDOM SAVES LIFE !!!

THE SNAKE AND THE GREEN FROG - MORAL STORY

          It had just rained and the forest was nourishing with water everywhere. There was no shortage of food for every animal.  A snake was swimming in a pond. It had an eye on the plentiful fish in the pond. As it was about to catch a fish, the other fish saw it and pecked at it, biting and annoying it. The snake could not catch the fish. The disappointed snake swam to the shore and was about to leave the place. Just then it saw a frog croaking nearby. So it went to the frog and asked, "What is the justice in the act of the fish.        I was about to catch a big fish, but the other fish chased me off." The frog thought for a while and replied, "Of course, it is just. When the fish comes to you, you can eat it. But, when you go to the fish the fish have right to chase you off." HONEY BEE AND THE PIGEON - MORAL STORY

            It was the rainy season. The forest was thriving with lush green leaves and fresh flowers. All birds and animals were busy collecting food during breaks in the showering rain.           A pigeon was making some repair work in her nest. She was busy collecting available dry sticks. She was flying here and there. Suddenly, she saw a honey bee being drifted in the river below. The honey bee was trying hard to keep its wings dry. The pigeon was very much sorry for the bee. In an effort to save the honey bee, the pigeon plucked a dry leaf and threw it at the bee.         The honey bee was strong enough to lift itself and lay on the dry leaf for some time.
