THE SHEPHERD BOY AND THE WOLF MORAL STORY


Once there was a shepherd boy who had to look after a flock of sheep. He was very mischievous. One day, he decided to play a trick on the villagers. he shouted, "Please help me, there is a wolf." The villagers heard his cries and rushed out of the village to help the shepherd boy. When they reached him. they asked, "Where is the wolf?" The shepherd boy laughed loudly, "Ha, Ha, Ha! I was making fool all of you." I was only playing a trick.




 A few days later, the shepherd boy repeated his trick Again he cried, "Help! Help! Wolf!" Again, the villagers rushed. The boy said I was only playing a trick. A few days later, the shepherd boy repeated his trick. Again he cried, "Help! Help! Wolf!" Again,


The villagers rushed up the hill to help him and again they found that boy had tricked them. They were very angry with him for being so naughty. Then, after some time, a wolf attacked his flock of sheep. The shepherd boy ran towards the village shouting. "Help! Help! Wolf! Help! Somebody!"





The villagers heard his cries but this time no one came. to help him think that he might be playing another trick. The boy ran to the nearest villa ers and said, "A wolf is attacking the sheep. I lied before, but this time it is true!" On hearing this, the villagers went to look. It was true They could see the wolf running away and many dead sheep lying on the grass. 



Moral: People don't believe a person's truth who often tells lies.

THE LIONS ATTENDANTS

         There was an old lion in a forest. He was so old that he could no longer hunt effectively. He could not get food by himself, He had to eat only the leftovers of the kills made by other animals. Sometimes he had to stay hungry for days together if he could not find such leftover food.  A jackal and a crow were true followers of the lion. They were happy to stay with the lion and eat what the lion gave them. They too were very sad to see their king's pathetic state.
