THE GAMBLER'S WISDOM - MORAL STORY

There were two gamblers, Ramu and Somu, who were addicted to playing the dice game all the time.

While Ramu was very straightforward and honest in his game, Somu had the habit of cheating and his game was full of foul play. Every time Somu thought that he was going to lose, he swallowed the dice and acted as if it was lost and said, "Sorry Ramu, the dice are missing. I think the game has come to a draw. I think I need not pay you the money." Ramu believed in the words of Somu and say, "What is wrong in this my friend? What can you do if the dice are lost? You need not pay the bet amount." One day, Ramu found out that Somu was cheating. In order to teach him a lesson, Ramu soaked the dice in mild poison and brought it to play.

As usual, when Somu found that he was going to be the loser, he swallowed the dice. To his grief, Somu fell terribly sick. Ramu visited him and said, "Soon you shall be normal my friend. I have talked with the doctor. I wanted to teach you a small lesson for always cheating. Don't ever be a cheater. understood and felt sorry for his degraded behaviour of Somu.

Moral: NEVER CHEAT, EVEN IF IT IS A GAME !!!

THE SNAKE AND THE GREEN FROG - MORAL STORY

It had just rained and the forest was nourishing with water everywhere. There was no shortage of food for every animal.  A snake was swimming in a pond. It had an eye on the plentiful fish in the pond. As it was about to catch a fish, the other fish saw it and pecked at it, biting and annoying it. The snake could not catch the fish. The disappointed snake swam to the shore and was about to leave the place. Just then it saw a frog croaking nearby. So it went to the frog and asked, "What is the justice in the act of the fish.        I was about to catch a big fish, but the other fish chased me off." The frog thought for a while and replied, "Of course, it is just. When the fish comes to you, you can eat it. But, when you go to the fish the fish have right to chase you off." Saying this, the frog leapt away saying to itself, "Oh God! I've been lucky today to have escaped." Moral: EVEN THE MIGHTY ERRS  !!! **** **** ****

THE ELEPHANT AND THE HELPFUL MICE MORAL STORY

In the heart of the forest, there was a ruined palace. The king had used it as a summer resort a long time back.    Now that the king had died, there were no visitors and the palace had turned into ruins. This ruined leftover had become the shelter for a colony of mice. Once, a herd of elephants happened to cross that way. With loud trumpeting, they crumpled everything they set foot on. When they were about to crush the ruins, the chief mouse ran to the master elephant and begged, "Hey mighty elephant, we are living in these ruins for generations and generations. All our children and their children would turn homeless if your mighty feet lands on these ruins. Be kind enough to spare our lives and our homes." The kind-hearted elephant ordered its fellow elephants not to disturb the ruins and left the place without damaging it.          Days went by. Season changed. Summer came. The mice went through the entire forest in search of food. As they were appr...
